Mayra Heitman
Founder, Chief Marketing Officer
Mrs. Mayra Heitman is the founder of Defined Branding Co., a creative agency built from a clear and growing need within Eccentriq Development Solutions and Command Emblematic Sales. As the businesses expanded, small business owners across the country increasingly sought help not just with emblematic merchandise, but with branding, web design, marketing strategy, and the day-to-day challenges of running and sustaining a business. Defined Branding Co. was created to meet that demand—with Mayra leading the way.
A graduate of the University of West Florida, Mayra earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations with a minor in Psychology, establishing a foundation in communication, audience behavior, brand messaging, and creative strategy. Her professional portfolio reflects deep expertise in digital marketing, graphic design, branding, content development, analytics, website design & SEO, and public relations, skills demonstrated throughout her career in roles such as Public Relations & Outreach Coordinator for WUWF Public Media and Marketing & Outreach Coordinator for AltaPointe Health.
Mayra later served as the Director of Marketing & Public Relations for Eccentriq (EDS) from 2017 to 2022, where she managed social media platforms, provided business consulting, developed marketing strategies, and produced extensive graphic and video content for both EDS and its clients.
Her natural leadership, creativity, and analytical approach positioned her to step into a larger role, one focused on empowering business owners to grow with clarity and purpose.
Defined Branding Co. was founded on a simple but powerful belief:Entrepreneurs should spend their time doing what they do best, not trying to be graphic designers, marketers, and web developers all at once.
Mayra specializes in helping business owners reclaim their time, sharpen their brand identity, elevate their digital presence, and build sustainable systems that support long-term success. Her approach bridges both worlds she knows well: the emblematic craftsmanship of the military and first responder communities, and the promotional product, branding, and marketing needs of civilian businesses.
Through Defined Branding Co., Mayra works with clients nationwide, from startups to established organizations, providing guidance, creative direction, and solutions that help them grow with confidence. Her mission is to ensure that every company, regardless of size, has access to professional branding, strategy, and the tools needed to thrive.
Beyond her professional achievements, Mayra is deeply rooted in family and faith. She is the proud wife of Lucas and devoted mother to Braden and Olive, who continue to inspire her passion, resilience, and drive to help others succeed.
Jaime Quiñones
Co-owner, Design Lead
Mr. Jaime Quiñones is a retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer, entrepreneur, designer, and community leader dedicated to service, leadership, and creative innovation. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and raised between Puerto Rico and Northeast Florida as a military child, Jaime began his own 24-year naval career in 1993 and retired honorably in 2017.
During his decorated service, he deployed eight times across five major campaigns and served aboard numerous commands including USS Saratoga (CV-60), USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75), USS Gettysburg (CG-64), Afloat Training Group Mayport, and USS America (LHA-6). Chief Quiñones earned multiple warfare qualifications, Surface, Aviation, and Information Warfare—along with more than 18 personal and unit awards, including four Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals. He was selected as the Commander, Navy Region Southeast Sailor of the Year and achieved multiple instructor credentials, including Non-Lethal Weapons Instructor, Afloat Training Specialist, Master Training Specialist, and Homeland Security/FEMA Levels I–V. His technical expertise led to his selection to help develop the Surface Forces Readiness Manual, which remains the fleet standard for Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection training today.
A lifelong artist, Jaime began designing professionally at age 14 for 17th Street Surf Shop and Wave Riding Vehicles (WRV) in Virginia Beach. In 2002, while stationed in Norfolk, he co-founded C & Q Graphic Designs LLC with Mr. Alton Culver, USN (Ret), which evolved into Eccentriq Development Solutions LLC, the parent company of Defined Branding Co. and Command Emblematic Sales. Under his leadership, EDS has become a global trusted provider of branding, graphic design, web development, product manufacturing, custom apparel, and emblematic items for military commands, nonprofits, and businesses worldwide.
Beyond entrepreneurship, Jaime is an accomplished event coordinator and a passionate advocate for veteran success. He serves on the Board of Directors for the 5 Star Veterans Center and on the National Navy Chief Petty Officers Association as the Southeast Region Representative. He is one of the lead coordinators for CPO Heritage Week and CPO Pride Day Jacksonville, one of the largest Chief Petty Officer heritage events in the country. His dedication to developing leaders inspired him to co-found the Anchored Leadership Foundation, a nonprofit focused on leadership development, transition support, and financial empowerment for active-duty service members and veterans. Through ALF, he and his team raise and donate funds to veteran-serving nonprofits locally and nationwide.
A man of faith, family, and service, Jaime continues his lifelong commitment to mentorship and community impact. He resides in Fleming Island, Florida, with his wife, Michelle, and their son, Sebastián, and is a proud father and grandfather to Daniel, Angelita, Mayra, and grandchildren Kaleb, Greyson, Braden, and Olive.
